The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming exhibition, Travel. This open call invites photographers from all backgrounds to submit up to 8 images that reflect their interpretation of the theme. Submissions can include a wide range of styles and subjects such as landscapes from places you have visited, portraits of people you have met, action shots of different modes of transport, or nature and wildlife photography. Selected photographers will have their work displayed in a four-week exhibition at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography. All chosen images will be professionally printed, mounted, and framed to a high standard. The work will also be included in a printed exhibition catalogue available for sale and featured on the gallery's online platform for three years. Participants will also be considered for Photographer of the Month.

The exhibition is open to all photographers. A fee is required to enter, but all rights remain with the photographer at all times. The deadline for submissions is 22 August 2025. For more information and to submit your work, visit the official website.

The final book will be clothbound in hardback and distributed worldwide by GOST Books and their partners. Along with the book publication, the recipient will receive £5,000 to help complete their project, an expenses-paid trip to oversee printing in Verona, and exposure through social media, access to judges and advisors, and publication support from media partner The Guardian. Applicants must submit a short biography, a concise project description, and up to 40 representative images. AI-generated images are not allowed.

The award is open to photographers aged 18 and over, with no theme restrictions. There is an entry fee. The deadline for submissions is 1 September 2025. For full details and to apply, visit the official website.
