Interested in gaining exposure for your work? Contests and Juried Exhibitions are both great ways for Photographers to gain recognition and make connections in the field. Here are a few contests and exhibitions with upcoming deadlines in June.

LoosenArt is an online gallery and platform dedicated to contemporary visual arts. They provide a space where art finds further support for its role, of its deeper meaning, of it being a channel through which man relates with others, with the world and reality. LoosenArt will be hosting a group exhibition in Rome, Italy. LoosenArt welcomes photographers to submit work that falls under the theme "Minimal".

The New York Center for Photographic Arts in New York put together an International photography competition, inviting photographers to submit images under the theme of "Urban, Suburban, Rural". The winners will receive $4,000 in cash awards and be featured on the NYC4PA Online Gallery and in the winners' catalog. The Grand Prize-winning image will be posted on the NYC4PA home page.

Dodho Magazine is a magazine that aims to create a collective space where photographers can gather the best documentary and artistic projects of the current photographic panorama. Dodho is an independent international magazine, born out of necessity and with the vocation to promote the work and projects of professional and emerging photographers from around the world. They are currently hosting their first Monochromatic Awards where they are looking for the best monochrome picture for this year.

The Denis Roussel Award was developed to help continue the legacy and celebrate the life of photographer Denis Roussel and to highlight work done by photographers whose work is based on historical/alternative photographic processes, including silver gelatin. One photographer will be selected for The Denis Roussel Award and there will also be two Works of Merit Awards.
